After Breakfast, Mengchen and myself went to the subway and made our way down to the olympic stadium.
It was a pretty good trip down there and uneventful, which for me is pretty good cause everything that I typically do turns into a big event! When we came out of the subway, the walk to the stadium was quite a ways away. So knowing my desire to get a rickshaw ride, she flagged down one for us to ride up to the stadium. She tells me they don't have people pulling them anymore, I guess that was so last year. Oh well, here is the rickshaw that we got to ride in!
We made it safely to the gate of the Olympic stadium, despite a few tight corners and near misses! And walked into the park. Immediately, when she was taking a photo of me she was confronted about bringing a big monkey into the park as shown here.
After convincing every one that I was not, in fact a monkey, they let us proceed into the park! This stadium is amazing. The Cardinals stadium in Phoenix has nothing on this place. The place was hugh!
Well since I am traveling with my Bank of America Visa card I thought I would show you what fine establishments that it can get you in China.
Here house keeping uses a yard blower instead of a vacuum! I am glad I got a higher isle then some of the other Bank of America customers, good thing I booked early and called in advance that I was going to be in China when they decided to jack with my credit card, but I digress.
Next we decided to catch a cab and go check out the Temple of Lama.
